Aramu
Aramu , also Arame or Arama , was between 858 and 844 BC. Chr. Urartian king. He is the first historically known ruler of the newly formed Urartean state in the area of Lake Van and Urmi . He was defeated in several battles by the Assyrian king Sulmanu-ašared III. It is believed that the founding of Tušpa can be traced back to Aramu.
