Work capacity

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The working capacity is the mass-related power (measured in watts per kilogram of body mass) of a living being at a certain heart rate.

The investigation to determine the working capacity of a person is carried out primarily in the clinical-medical field. It also serves as an examination criterion for the assessment of respiratory protective equipment wearers during the examination according to the employer's liability insurance association principles G 26. The heart rate is measured on the bicycle ergometer with increasing performance.
