overview

The first ski lifts were installed in Arinsal by Josep Serra in 1973, but the ski area was soon taken over by La Massana . In the following years the Pal and Ordino-Arcalis ski areas were developed. In 2001, the places Pal and Arinsal were connected by a cable car for the first time and in 2004 the Vallnord area was created with three ski areas: Arinsal, Pal and Ordino-Arcalis. You can ski all with the Vallnord ski pass.

In the summer months, the ski area in Arinsal is transformed into the Vallnord Bike Park. It is one of the largest bike resorts in southern Europe. The downhill trails in Bikepark Vallnord cover a wide range of terrain and offer different options. The difficulty of the runs is divided into 2 easy runs, 6 medium runs, 7 difficult and 2 very difficult runs.
