Arne Anka

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Arne Anka is a Swedish cartoon character .

The character of Charlie Christensen ( pseudonym : Alexander Barks ) is a cynical and anarchist duck. She resembles the character of Donald Duck (Swedish: Kalle Anka ) and has long been the subject of a threatened lawsuit by the Disney group . In response, Arne underwent plastic surgery after a fake death in order to avoid Disney's threat with a significantly more pointed beak. Neither Arne nor the readers liked the new beak and so after a while at Butterick's , a joke article store in downtown Stockholm, he bought a beak that looked like his old beak and which he could attach to his head with a rubber band. From this point on the elastic was always visible in the drawings; in the event of a lawsuit, Arne could have removed it.

He often gets drunk in Zeke's Bar , where he also pursues philosophical thoughts about God and the world and life in general.

Since December 2004 Arne has been the main character of the series again.
