Arrukum

Arrukum (old reading: Ar-Ennum) was a high official who officiated in Ebla . The older research saw him as a king. He served under King Irkab-Damu for 5 years and was the leading figure at the court during these years. He is mentioned in numerous documents. During his tenure, new types of documents appeared in the administration, the introduction of which can be attributed to him. He died just months before the king passed away. Gifts from the administration for his funeral are listed in texts.
