arzt spital pflege, neu asp , is a Swiss specialist magazine for health care and has been published by the Swiss publisher of the same name since 1983. With a circulation of 6,800 copies, the magazine appears every two months and primarily addresses stakeholders in the healthcare sector.
history
The specialist magazine was founded by Giovanni L. Viecelli in 1983 and was originally called hospitals, retirement homes and nursing homes . On September 23, 1998 Remo Cottiati und Partner took over the publishing house title. The first issue with a new design under the name klinik und heim appeared in early 2003. The partner left after five years. Klinik und Heim celebrated its 30th year in 2013 and at the same time gave itself a new brand and a new focus with the new name arzt spital pflege and thus increasingly aimed at doctors, the hospital sector and care in hospitals as well as in old people's and nursing homes. The trade journal was divided into various specialist topics and a new publisher's representative was appointed in 2016. In 2017, the specialist magazine was supplemented with an online section and a monthly newsletter (available to around 15,000 readers). In January 2018, the layout of the magazine was modernized and the trade magazine has since appeared under the a | s | p logo.
Content
In the early days of arzt spital pflege , the content mainly included specialist articles from manufacturers and information on applications and advertisements. In the meantime, the specialist magazine has developed into an information platform with a focus on technical relevance in the areas of medicine, health policy, nursing, doctors, hospitals, catering in institutions, nutrition, construction in the health sector, eHealth and facility management.
Many of the articles that appear in the print edition can be read online. The online platform is also supplemented almost daily with new articles and the most important information is sent out monthly by newsletter. Further sections include interviews with personalities from the health care sector, further training offers and job offers.
