Asagi

The Asagi ( 浅黄 , literally "light blue") is a Nishikigoi (short form Koi ) - a colored carp. It is one of the oldest cultivated forms. Many varieties have been bred from it. The Asagi has a blue back with scales outlined in light blue to white. Ideally, he has a white head and hi ( , scarlet) on the cheeks. The chest and side fins should be red.

The Shusui ( 秋 翠 , “autumn green ”, also 秋水 , written “pure water”) is an Asagi with Doitsu ( ド イ ツ , “German”, ie mirror carp -) - scaling. The color forms of the Shusui are exactly the same as those of the Asagi.
