The Assam short sword is a weapon from India .
description
The Assam short sword has a straight, single-edged blade. The blade begins round on the handle , becomes flat towards the location and is sharp all around. A small, sharp hook is worked out just before the location. The place is wide and curved downwards at the end. The handle is made of cast brass , is round and has a hand guard. The pommel is funnel-shaped and usually decorated with a colored tuft of animal hair. There are several versions of this weapon, differing in shape and decoration. The Assam short sword is used by ethnic groups in India.
