Low effort
In general psychology, low-effort is an action that dispenses with errors and trial and error due to numerous existing experiences .
Thinking and problem solving
In the context of thinking and problem-solving , the term describes a path through a problem space that is close to the optimum .
classic example:
- The problem space of the Tower of Hanoi can be fully described in General Psychology. A person who moves along the optimum through this problem space acts with little effort .
Expression Psychology
In the context of expressive psychology , the term describes the property of a functional movement to keep the physiological sequence pattern close to the biomechanical optimum.
Example:
- There are many ways to purposefully grab a cup and bring it to your mouth. Some of them are mannered, graceful or contain superfluous movements that are not for the pure purpose of drinking. A way of drinking that is purely practical and does not require any further exercise is called low-effort .
