Selected Acts of Persian Martyrs
Selected Files of Persian Martyrs is a collection of martyrs' files from Persia . Oskar Braun published the translations from the Greek as a volume in the Library of the Church Fathers series in 1915 in Kempten . It contains biographical material on various martyrs and saints.

- Schâpûr, Bishop of Bêt Nikâtôr; Isaac, Bishop of Karkâ de Bêt Slôk; Ma'nâ; Abraham and Simon, condemned at Bêt Pârsâjê; their relics were kept in Edessa .

The events take place at the time of the kings Schâpûr , Jezdegerd I. and span a period of about 100 years. The main opponents are the mobeds , for example Môpêt Adârbôzi, Mihrschâpûr, Tahmjezdegerd. Exceptionally, a bishop dies peacefully: Bishop Schâpûrbarâz of Karkâ de Bêt Slôk. The author is Rabban Mâr Bâbai , the abbot on Mount Izalâ (p. 221).
