Equipment level

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The degree of equipment is the statistical measure of how many households have a certain item of equipment. For example, an equipment level of 73% mobile phones means that 73 out of 100 households have at least one mobile phone. Mathematically, the level of equipment is determined by the number of households in which a corresponding consumer good is available, based on the number of projected households multiplied by 100.

Equipment inventory

The level of equipment must be distinguished from the existing equipment. Both sizes refer to the same number of households, but the equipment inventory says the following:

The equipment inventory indicates how many items of equipment there are in 100 households. For example, an inventory of 114 cell phones per 100 households means that some households have more than one cell phone . With such multiple equipment, the equipment inventory is also greater than the equipment level. Mathematically, the equipment inventory is determined by the number of consumer goods in each household, based on the number of extrapolated households multiplied by 100.
