Awareness

With Awareness ( engl. "Consciousness" or "awareness", also translated as "awareness", the emphasis on active attitude, and also "attention") could refer to:

• in marketing: the products / brands known to a consumer; see awareness set
• in computer science:
  • the awareness of a computer application to all properties of its environment; see context sensitivity (computer science) ( Context Awareness )
• In medicine: A traumatic complication during an operation in which the patient wakes up from general anesthesia, but cannot make himself noticeable and is aware of the operation (see intraoperative alertness ).
• in gestalt therapy : both an unintentional, active, inner attitude of attention / mindfulness, as well as a more directed form of attention / mindfulness that relates to all phenomena of perception and experience
