Ayauhteotl

Ayauhteotl ( Nahuatl : goddess of fog from ayauitl: fog and teotl: goddess ) is a manifestation of the water goddess Chalchiuhtlicue in the Aztec world of gods .

Ayauhteotl is the goddess of night and morning mist and haze, and because of her seedy character, the goddess of vanity and fame. She is the daughter of Teteoinnan and the sister of Tlazolteotl and Itzpapalotl .
