The citizen list for Dortmund e. V. is a free voter community from Dortmund in North Rhine-Westphalia . She is a member of the state association of free and independent citizens and Voting communities of the state of NRW e. V. (Free Voters NRW) . In 1999 she moved to the Dortmund City Council for the first time. Since 2004 it has formed a parliamentary group with the FDP on the city council .

election program

The citizen list advocates more citizen participation, promotion of schools, daycare centers and sports fields and calls for a nationwide supply of Dortmund with children's playgrounds. She wants to fight illegal prostitution and drug use with stricter police controls.

The future of Dortmund Airport , especially in the south of Dortmund, is a central issue in local politics. The citizens' list is in favor of strict compliance with the night flight ban and against further expansion.

Results

After the municipal elections in 2009 and the repeat elections in 2010, the citizens' list moved into the city council with two members. In addition, the citizens' list - Free voters for Dortmund e. V. four district representatives in the city districts of Aplerbeck, Hörde, Innenstadt-Nord and Lütgendortmund.

Local election 2009

On July 17, 2008, the board of directors decided to run for local elections on August 30, 2009 in all 41 council electoral districts and for all twelve district councils.
