Bürstenmann is a manufacturer of housewares and home improvement supplies with a range of 1,600 products. It will u. a. 35 million toothbrushes produced annually . 240 employees work in 3 shifts. The production site is Stützengrün .

history

In 1906 Bürstenmann was established as a department of the Schönheider consumer association . In 1919 production was taken over by the Großeinkaufsgesellschaft Deutscher Consumvereine mbH . This in turn founded the Bürstenmann company in Stützengrün in 1925. Expropriated by the National Socialists and put back into operation after 1945 on the orders of the Soviet Military Administration (SMAD), Bürstenmann developed into an efficient export company in the GDR . Zentralkonsum eG has been a 100% shareholder since 1990 .

Products for oral hygiene and for use in the house, garden, kitchen and toilet are manufactured. Toothbrushes are produced in 143 variants and different colors, shapes, materials, labels and packaging.
