The building complex Bahnhofsallee 40 in Vieselbach is a typical historical four-sided courtyard in Thuringia . It was built around 1860 along Bahnhofstrasse, which had been built shortly before. The associated courtyard property has an area of ​​approx. 14,610 m². The well-preserved building complex meets the criteria of monument protection .

main building

The main building is a two-storey, classicist house with a hipped roof. It is in the line of buildings on Bahnhofsallee. On the left is the living area with five window axes and a centrally located front door. There is a passage on the right and there are two further window axes on the right. In the roof area there are three symmetrically arranged dormers. The building is made of timber frame and plastered. In 1924 it was modernized and rebuilt slightly. It has been empty since 2000.

Outbuildings

Behind the main building there is a farm yard, which is bordered on the left and right by two former stable buildings and on the front by a spacious barn.
