The railway Kingfield Alder Stream is a railway line in Maine ( United States ). It is around four kilometers long. The line was built in the gauge of two feet (610 mm) and is completely shut down.

Several logging camps sprang up northwest of Kingfield around the turn of the 20th century. To connect this to the railway network, the Franklin and Megantic Railway built the branch line to the terminus Alder Stream . The line was opened as a public railway in 1907, but was only used for freight traffic. From 1908, the Sandy River and Rangeley Lakes Railroad led operations on the railroad, which in turn was taken over by the Maine Central Railroad in 1911 . In 1922 the branch was shut down and dismantled.

The line branched off at Kingfield Station from the main line, crossed the West Branch River and ran north parallel to and above the main line. The northern part of the route is now used by the Tuffs Pond Road .
