Ballineetig
The menhir ( English Standing Stone ) of Ballineetig ( Irish Baile an Fhaoitigh ), also Gallaunmore ( Irish At Gallán Mór - German "big menhir" ) is on the northwest side of the deeply cut bay of Trábeg, on the south side of the Dingle Peninsula in County Kerry in Ireland , in the front yard of a house.
The stone, classified as a national monument, is 4.2 m high and has a cross-section of 1.8 by 0.95 m. The northwest and southeast sides taper towards the broken tip. The slightly sloping menhir is oriented east-west in terms of its broad sides.
