Ballot (unit)

Ballot ( French : bale) was a French piece measure and corresponded to the bale or the pack . The measure was used in the glass and paper trade:

  • Glass measure
    • 1 ballot = 25  bundles of 6 sheets of white glass each
    • 1 ballot = 12 ½ bundles of 3 tablets of colored glass
  • Paper measure
