The bandwidth option ( English range option ) is a special form of a derivative and is among the exotic options . This type of option is often referred to as boundary, hamster or EARN

When purchasing a bandwidth option, the investor relies on a sideways movement in the underlying asset . If the price of the underlying asset moves only within a predefined range, the investor receives a fixed amount.
