Barocco semper giovane
Barocco semper giovane (baroque is always young) is a Czech chamber ensemble made up of young musicians specializing in high baroque music.
history
The Barocco semper giovane was founded in 2004 by cellist Josef Krečmer. Since then the ensemble has played concerts, produced CDs and collaborated with Czech TV and Czech Radio .
It organizes its own cycle of subscription concerts in Pardubice . The ensemble focuses on the Baroque period, but the performers are also devoted to the music of classicism and the music of contemporary composers Luboš Sluka , Slavomír Hořínka , Vít Zouhar .
