Baron Langdale of Holme
Baron Langdale of Holme was a hereditary British title in the Peerage of England .
Award
The title was created by Letters patent on February 4, 1658 for the royalist military leader in the English Civil War Sir Marmaduke Langdale from Holme-on-Spalding-Moor in Yorkshire .
The title expired on the death of his great-great-grandson, the 5th baron, who left no male descendants, on April 5, 1777.
