Baron Rootes , of Ramsbury in the County of Wiltshire , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .

Award

The title was created on February 16, 1959 for the businessman Sir William Rootes , head of the Rootes Motors automobile group .

Today's title holder has been his grandson as 3rd Baron since 1992.
