Bass accordion

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The bass accordion is an accordion that has only one treble side . But this sounds much deeper than the normal version.

Bass accordions are mainly used in the accordion orchestra . The response (reaction time) of the tones is longer, similar to that of other bass instruments . Playing a melody is therefore only possible to a limited extent.

Reed plates and reed blocks for low tones are much larger than for higher tones, they take up a lot of space in the instrument.

The Kanz Ellen (sound chambers) are constructed folded so that the speech and the sound are satisfactory. The fold extends the sound chamber. This ensures that the resonance frequency of the cell falls into a more favorable range.
