procedure

Each spring, the new farmers are introduced via trailers and in the press. At the traditional parlor in Kandersteg, they meet their chosen ones in order to get to know them better and to decide who they would like to invite to their farm. They then spend a week together on the farm and get to know each other better at work and on excursions together. The season is broadcast from July to January.
