Baz Mohammad Ahmadi

Baz Mohammad Ahmadi is the current governor of Ghor Province in Afghanistan . Ahmadi was a commander of the Jamiat-e Eslami of Ahmad Shah Massoud in the 1990s. After the US invasion in 2001, Ahmadi became a senior official in the Afghan Ministry of Defense. He replaced Ismail Khan as military commander in Herat province.

Ahmadi is accused by Human Rights Watch of having committed human rights abuses in the clashes of the 1990s.
