The Berliner Rundfunk 91.4 is a private radio station in Berlin . It went on the air on January 1, 1992 as the successor to the GDR radio station Berliner Rundfunk , making it the first private broadcaster in East Germany .
Today's Berliner Rundfunk 91.4 broadcasts a full 24-hour program and is musically based on the evergreens of the 1980s. Newer music is rarely used.
Simone Panteleit moderates the morning program “We love Berlin” . Michael Lott acts as the male station voice and Ines Deinert as the female voice. The program is produced in the Medienzentrum Berlin.
The shareholders are Märkisches Medienhaus GmbH & Co. KG (42.9 percent), DuMont Mediengruppe GmbH & Co. KG (42.9 percent) and Radio-Information Audio-Service Zwei GmbH (14.2 percent).
