Bernd A. Mertz

Bernd A. Mertz (born July 10, 1924 in Berlin , † November 17, 1996 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a German actor , director , screenwriter and astrologer .

Life

Mertz wrote several scripts for plays and television plays. From 1967 he moderated the program Celebrities play their favorite idea on ORF . In 1970 he came into contact with astrology, which fascinated him, so that he made it his main occupation. In the falcon series he wrote one of the best-selling introductory books on astrology in German-speaking countries. Today he is considered one of the leading exponents of modern astrology. In 50 books and several articles he dealt with topics of astrology. He was married to the actress and broadcaster Christiane Eisler-Mertz.
