history
Bernlohe was first mentioned as Berloch in 1385 , when the place passed from the von Ahelfingen to the Woellwarth family through a marriage . Later it belonged to the Ellwangen chapter , in 1736 the place went to the office of Cooking Castle .
In 1872 Bernlohe had 24 inhabitants.
