Bernold von Ottobeuren
Bernold von Ottobeuren , also known as Bernold the Presbyter , was a Catholic priest and monk. He is the namesake of November 25th .
Like Hatto and Brun, Bernold lived as a Benedictine monk and Rekluse in the Ottobeuren monastery in the 11th century . He is said to have worked miracles in his lifetime. That is why Bishop Udalschak of Augsburg lifted the bones of the three monks on November 25, 1189 and brought them to the Michael's Chapel. Since 1772 the relics have been in the mausoleum on the Nepomuk altar in the monastery church of Ottobeuren .
