Berria [ bɛ'rriːˌja ] ("the news", "the news", also "the new one") is a Basque daily newspaper that was founded in 2003 to fill the void left after the Euskaldunon Egunkaria newspaper was banned in the Basque media landscape gaped. The newspaper's editorial team consists mainly of left-leaning editors, who are supplemented by a number of authors with different ideological orientations.

The newspaper is sold both in the Basque part of Spain and in the French Basque Country, with content as well as editorial and sales information being given in Basque only .
