Appointment

Appointment means:

  • generally the appointment to an office, also the appointment of an official, see appointment
  • Obsolete for license to practice medicine (medical professions) , in the health sector the state authorization to practice as a doctor, dentist, psychotherapist, veterinarian or pharmacist
  • in the judiciary, the establishment of a person as legal representative, e.g. B. the appointment to guardian (§ 1773 ff. BGB) or carer (§ 1909 ff. BGB), see appointment document
