The operating point is once and for all alarm systems (GMA) according to DIN the required VDE0833 and written to leading detection. All events during operation as well as all measures to ensure operational readiness at GMA must be entered in the log book.

Entries are made by the “responsible bodies”: fire brigade , police , security company, maintenance company, concessionaires (activation) as well as operators and installers.

Device data: Device overview and so-called master data of the system.

Operating events alarms (eg. Burglar - robbery -, fire -, Gas Common Problems), error messages, shutdown, maintenance / inspection, inspections and other operational events.

Message and fault statistics: According to DIN VDE 0833, message and fault statistics must also be kept in connection with the log book.

The entries in the log book are to be made by the operator of the system (person responsible for the GMA) and by the installer (specialist in the installation company). The log book must be available at all times and be kept in the immediate vicinity of the headquarters. For fire alarm systems according to DIN 14675 , this is required in the technical connection conditions.
