Evidence-based arrest

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The secure evidence arrest or qualified arrest of suspects is an arrest under previous or simultaneous assurance court usable evidence such as witness statements (by police) or video recordings.

The term plays a role especially in violent clashes in the context of demonstrations or riots, in which it can be difficult to prove a criminal offense without an evidence-based arrest. In such cases, the preliminary investigation is often inconclusive.

Evidence- securing arrest is the main task of the Evidence-Securing and Arrest Units (BFE) of the police.
