The Biblioteca Polaca Ignacio Domeyko (German: Ignacio Domeyko Polish Library ) is the largest Polish library in South America . It was founded in 1960 in the Argentine capital Buenos Aires , in the Palermo district , and named after the Polish geologist and mineralogist Ignacy Domeyko . The library was set up by the Unión de los Polacos en la República Argentina (German: Polish Union in the Republic of Argentina).
