Biblical circular hiking trail Waldachtal

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Biblical Circular Walk Waldachtal is a spiritual and tourist offer in the municipality of Waldachtal in the Black Forest. It has been supported by an association since 2000, but has existed for a long time. The path begins at the Schellenberghof in Waldachtal-Tumlingen, is 900 m long and handicapped accessible.

Like a Bible garden, the circular hiking trail shows many plants from the Mediterranean region, but it also teaches realities of the biblical world, e.g. B. the functioning of a threshing slide or a clay oven ( tannur ). One of the highlights of the route is the “Birth House of Jesus”, a true-to-original, antique mud house, which was completed in 2006 and where people and cattle lived under one roof.
