Biebernsee is a part of the Rumpenheim district in Offenbach am Main .
Biebernsee was built after 1945 as a pure housing estate with a few agricultural sideline jobs (today: pure residential houses) without shops on the eastern edge of Offenbach and Rumpenheim. The name of the settlement is derived from a nearby pond of the same name.
