Organic milk

When organic milk is called a variant of the milk of domestic cattle on the circumstances of their production.

In order to be allowed to be called organic milk, the product must have been produced in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 834/2007 , also known as the Organic Regulation . This also protects the term organic milk, although it has not been established accordingly. The standards for keeping and feeding are formulated in accordance with the basic guidelines of the International Association of Organic Agriculture Movements IFOAM. Colloquially, it is also used to designate products according to other guidelines and standards, which, however, may not be sold within the European Union .

Organic milk is typically produced in certified organic farms, collected separately and processed separately from other types of milk in dairies.

In addition to organic cow's milk, other types of organic milk are also offered.
