Bismarck monument in Koenigsberg

The Bismarck monument in Königsberg was ceremoniously unveiled on April 1, 1901 on Kaiser-Wilhelm-Platz . The monument committee had chosen the sculptor Friedrich Reusch for the design of the monument , because he had already created the Kaiser Wilhelm I monument , which is in sight seven years earlier . The correspondence between these two monuments created tension on Kaiser-Wilhelm-Platz.
