Black Legend was the joint music project of the two Italian DJs and music producers Enrico Ferrari and Ciro Sasso and the British singer Elroy "Spoonface" Powell.

The band achieved an international hit in the summer of 2000 with the title You See the Trouble with Me . The song is based on a live sample of a Barry White concert that he gave in Belgium in 1990. When White refused to allow his voice to be used on the track, the vocals were re-recorded by Elroy Powell.
The single was number 1 in the British charts for one week in June 2000 and also hit the charts in Germany and Switzerland.
In the following years further productions appeared, some with considerable success in the European club scene. However, the great commercial success could not be repeated.
