Blind Date is an Austrian dating show. This is a docu-soap in which two people do not see each other before their first rendezvous , but only get to know each other through their personal characteristics. The show is moderated by the Austrian comedian Alex Scheurer , who had previously presented the program It's Showtime . It is broadcast on the Austrian TV broadcaster ATV .

First, the candidate inquires about one of the three candidates from related parties. Thereafter, the candidate may also visit the places to which the respective candidate usually goes (for example, workplace or apartment). In the final “phase”, the candidate must choose one of the three candidates. There should be a romantic evening with the chosen person .
