The BlueMax Theater in Berlin is a theater building that has been specially converted for the Blue Man Group show . It originally served as an IMAX cinema with a dome screen. The theater hall can seat 600 people.

history

The BlueMax Theater Berlin opened on February 1, 2007 at Potsdamer Platz . It is located on Marlene-Dietrich-Platz, exactly opposite the Stage Theater on Potsdamer Platz. In this, the Blue Man Group had its first appearance in Berlin. The stage show, which always involves the audience, made special demands on the theater stage. The stage space of the BlueMax Theater was tailored to these requirements, as was the technology for the elaborate laser and light show .

The BlueMax Theater offers four rooms, in addition to the theater hall, the foyer with two levels and a small lounge area, called the box office. The total area is 2,260 square meters, of which the two-storey foyer alone takes up 1,200 square meters. The theater hall is 428 square meters, the stage is 85 square meters. The foyer has 100 seats and the box office seats 20.
