Post mill Pömmelte
The post mill Pömmelte is a post mill in the town of Barby belonging to the village of Pömmelte in Saxony-Anhalt .

The windmill is located at Schönebecker Straße 12 to the east near the exit to Schönebeck (Elbe) .
History and layout
The mill was built in 1781 and was initially built on the Hummelberg near Schönebeck. It was moved to its current location around 1860. In the 1930s it received a still functioning crude oil engine from the Körting company . The roller mill , grinding mill , pointed step and sifter have also been preserved. Auxiliary facilities such as elevators, lifts and transmission are also available.
On January 19, 2007, the wing cross of the mill was damaged by Hurricane Kyrill .
