Bohemus , Boemus means:

  • Čech (forefather Czech, Czech: Čech, German: Czech), a legendary figure who is said to have brought the Czech people to their new homeland
  • Johannes Böhm (humanist) (also Boehm, Boemus, Bohemus, Bohemus Aubanus ; ~ 1485–1533 / 1535), German humanist and ethnographer
  • Albert Behaim ( Albertus Bohemus ; ~ 1190 / 1195–1260?), Author of the letter and memorial book from 1245
  • Martin Behaim ( Martin Bohemus ; 1459–1507), cosmographer
  • Bohemus , a group of dissident writers in the 1970s in the Czech Republic
