The castle belonged to the Cornwalls of Bonhard . Later it was divided into apartments for farm workers and the interior was rebuilt. In 1959 the building burned down and was blown up in 1962. Today there is a new house in its place.
architecture
The tower, which was raised, had three floors and an attic. In the inner corner of the building there was a stair tower in a semi-octagonal shape. The original entrance was at the bottom of the stair tower.
The kitchen was on the non-vaulted ground floor, while the knight's hall was on the first floor above. On this floor there was stucco work from the 17th century.
