Bor (noble family)

The noble family of Bor (Czech z Boru u Přimdy ) is an old Bohemian noble family, from which the house Schwanberg (ze Švamberka) arose.

The most important personality of the family was Bohuslav von Bor († after 1316), Pilsner Chamberlain from 1285 to 1291 and participant in the Imperial Assembly in Frankfurt in 1310, at which the Bohemian nobility opposed King Heinrich of Carinthia .

His son Racek is mentioned in 1291.
