Boreaders
The Boreads ( Greek Βορεάδαι ) are the descendants of Boreas , god of the north wind , in Greek mythology . As such are handed down:
- the twin brothers Kalaïs and Zetes , participants of the Argonaut trip
- Chione (daughter of Boreas)
- Cleopatra (daughter of Boreas)
- Butes (son of Boreas)
- Lykurgos, stepbrother of Bute
- three gigantic brothers, sons of Boreas and Chione, priests of Apollo in the fabulous northern country Hyperborea
- three daughters of Boreas who came to Delos from the Arimaspen .
