Boreaders

The Boreads ( Greek  Βορεάδαι ) are the descendants of Boreas , god of the north wind , in Greek mythology . As such are handed down:

• the twin brothers Kalaïs and Zetes , participants of the Argonaut trip
• Chione (daughter of Boreas)
• Cleopatra (daughter of Boreas)
• Butes (son of Boreas)
• Lykurgos, stepbrother of Bute
• three gigantic brothers, sons of Boreas and Chione, priests of Apollo in the fabulous northern country Hyperborea
• three daughters of Boreas who came to Delos from the Arimaspen .
