The Venezuelan embassy in Washington, DC is the diplomatic mission of Venezuela in the United States . Its headquarters are at 1099 30th Street in Washington, DC. There is also a Venezuelan military representation, which is based at 2409 California St.. During the constitutional crisis in Venezuela, which also led to a diplomatic crisis between the USA and Venezuela, the embassy is supposed to act as a lobby for 30 days. If no solution to the crisis can be found within this period, the embassy should be replaced by an interest group from a friendly state. At the same time the embassy staff began to be withdrawn.
