The Brenner Tumor ( Fritz Brenner (1877-1969), pathologist, Osthofen) is malignant usually benign, rare (0.5-9%), rounded coarse, to several centimeters large tumor of the ovary ( ovarian ), which preferably, manifested in women over the age of 50 and can produce estrogens in some cases . Because it is often very small (less than 2 cm), it is not infrequently a purely incidental finding in an ovary that has been removed for other reasons. Histologically, there are often circumscribed islands of urothelium surrounded by fibrosed stroma.
