Brett Breeding

Brett Breeding (* 1963 ) is an American comic artist .

Life

Breeding started working as a full-time comic book artist in the 1980s. He has specialized in revising and "rounding off" the pencil drawings of other artists as an ink draftsman (Inker). His first job as a professional comic artist was as a pen in the series Power of the Atom written by Roger Stern .

From the late 1980s to the late 1990s, Breeding worked as an ink draftsman on various DC series about the superhero Superman . So he inking drawings for the series Action Comics , Adventures of Superman , Superman , Superman: Man of Steel and Superman: Man of Tomorrow , including Superman # 75 from 1993 in which the death of the superhero is described and that with more than 15 million copies sold as the best-selling comic book ever. His most frequent artistic partner in the Superman comics was the author and pencil draftsman Dan Jurgens , with whom Breeding also designed a mini-series in 1993 about the robot superhero Metal Men .
